Summer Love

   With the end of high school and senior year and prom comes the best of all Summer!

  Summer, oh how feel it in the air, in the sky, in the sands and cold water! I think we were all waiting for this moment.

  Summer is the time to show off your beautiful skin, your hair, your perfect body shapes (and I mean all shapes and sizes) , to be free, to make everyday memorable, to make new friends, to meet new places! 

   Summer is paradise it’s perfection it’s fun and wild! 

  But the best part of this season, is the summer romances!

  Oh how I love to help everyone find their summer love! Summer love is the purest of loves, although temporary, a summer love is remembered for a lifetime.

 It marks who you are, what you truly want not just what you want for the rest of your life. It’s an epic love! So big it would make you understand what the real message behind Romeo and Juliet. 

The typical boy meets girl, and they fall instantly and madly in love (with a bit of my help of course) and then comes the magical moments.

The walks late at night, the swimming in lakes, the midnight calls and texts , the dinners and picnics, and for some, the matching tattoos, the rings, the necklace with the first letter of your lovers name,  the songs that explain exactly how you feel  with and without them.

And it really doesn’t matter how it ends, because you will cherish every moment you had

 I really hope you all find your summer loves and I’ll be here watching over all of you and helping every step of the way. 

This is my last post but I’ll always be watching over , it was a really great year and miss you all  my beautiful mortals

This painting is the perfect example of the pop art movement basically Andy appropriated himself of the painting of me by Botticelli  and just changed it the way he wanted!

 He used strong and happy colors to paint it.

This work is a part of the movement against pre-established high and low art he used a painting that was considered a fine piece of art and made it almost common! 

He mass produced it so everyone could have it blurring the line that separated unique and fine art from common expendable and accessible art! 

It was a clear counter movement against Abstract Expressionism that searched for trauma in the soul, it wasn’t easy to define but pop art was! It was based on advertising, cartoons and popular images they were easier to assimilate by the bigger class that wasn’t part of the literate elite.

Rebel Without a Cause

Hello  my beautiful mortals how I’ve missed you guys!

Today I’m going to rewrite the end of “Rebel without a cause” it’s one of my favorite movies of all time starting James Dean another one of my blessed ones!

 If you haven’t seen the movie you better get started it’s amazing!

Judy was at home crying for her boyfriend’s death but them she realized it: now she can finally be free, although she liked being one of the cool kids she missed being herself…

So she went to Jim’s house. They started talking about running away so they did, and of course Jim went to get Plato his best friend.

so they stool a car and hit the road! To discover America, to find freedom and find themselves if they were lucky…”

Globalization

Hey lovely mortals!

Just as I promise I’m here again!

Today the subject will be globalization, or in other words “movement that powerful nations make to rule passively over others”

Yes I don’t like the idea of globalization because it reminds me o a lot of another movement that the world has known the Roman Empire!

It’s the same thing just without the army’s and killing. What happened all those years ago with the European countries, and my beloved Greece,  is happening again in the form of music, movies, and fashion everyone wants to be a American everyone wants to be cool to successful as them and have the American dream!

It’s happening everywhere America is the nowadays roman empire they control almost everything.

And in the smaller countries the new generations are starting to forget their own heritage they’re starting to dive in to the melting pot and losing everything that makes them unique.

Of course it isn’t all bad,  globalization has helped for people in different countries and continents to be closer to exchange ideas and ways of living. It helped a lot on educating people to embrace tolerance toward each other.

But still most people are being brain washed by this movement…

The Red Carpet!

My dear mortals, oh how I have missed you!  

It has been so long since I last wrote to you… I’m so sorry I’ll try to write more often

You know it’s not easy being a goddess and a blogger at the same time there is so much to do! There’s always a broken heart that screams for help, oh well like the French would say: “ce la vie” 

Now let’s get down to business!  

Did you know my second favorite time of the year is during the Oscars?(of course Valentine’s Day comes first)

I just love to see the new creations, those fabulous dresses that only my beloved humans can do!

This year my favorite gown was worn by Charlize Therone from Christian Dior!

 That dress on her almost made my jealous! And you know how hard it is to do that??!!  It’s almost impossible, but by far she wore the best dress in the whole party!

The white color of the dress symbolized purity and that detail around the waist it just made that simple dress PERFECT!

 But of course there we’re some dresses that just weren’t fit for the moment!

Like for example Melissa McCarthy’s gown that looked very comfy like an old sofa sweater!

I couldn’t believe it her dress took all her charm away not even her beautiful smile could save this fashion disaster!

The Russian model’s gown, Irina Shayk, was too reveling! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big supporter of sexuality but that cleave was too much, and that make-up terrible! It is almost as if her eyes we’re covered with mud, it just took all the light out of those gorgeous green eyes!

And Helena Bonham Carter I’m a huge fan of her work she has a really big talent, but that out of bed look isn’t working for me I mean there are other colors beyond black!

And last but not least my African princess Kelly Rowland that hairdo just gave it all away I was expecting so much more from you my darling!

So my baby girls be careful with what you wear! Make me proud!
